Two Flights Could Not Land at Darbhanga Airport

(Darbhanga): Darbhanga Airport’s flight services were disrupted again on Wednesday due to weather conditions. No flights were able to arrive or depart after 3 PM. SpiceJet flight SG 751, arriving from Delhi, had to be diverted to Varanasi after circling the sky for around 25 minutes, while Indigo’s flight 6E7234 from Kolkata also circled for about 35 minutes before returning to Kolkata.

SpiceJet Flight Diverted, Indigo Flight Returned
SpiceJet’s flight SG 751 was scheduled to land in Darbhanga around 12:50 PM, but it had to circle the skies for 25 minutes before being diverted to Varanasi due to poor weather. Passengers at Darbhanga Airport were informed that the flight would now return from Varanasi at 2:30 PM.

Indigo’s flight 6E7234 from Kolkata, which arrived around 2 PM, also circled the sky for 35 minutes due to weather conditions and then returned to Kolkata.

Flight from Darbhanga to Delhi Cancelled
The 3:20 PM flight from Darbhanga to Delhi was also abruptly cancelled. Passengers were notified at 2:45 PM, causing significant inconvenience.

Hyderabad to Darbhanga Flight Also Delayed
Indigo’s flight 6E537 from Hyderabad, which was supposed to land around 2:30 PM, was stuck in the sky for about 30 minutes due to poor weather conditions. This also caused unrest among passengers.

Further Flight Disruptions the Next Day
On Thursday, flight services at Darbhanga Airport were still affected by bad weather. Flights from Kolkata and Mumbai were cancelled, and there were also disruptions with the Bengaluru flight.

On the previous day, several flights had delays. SpiceJet’s flight SG 950 from Mumbai arrived 3 hours and 4 minutes late, landing at 2:09 PM, while Indigo’s flight 6E537 from Hyderabad was delayed by 25 minutes and landed at 2:40 PM.

Airlines Notify Passengers in Advance
Due to weather issues, some flights were cancelled on both Tuesday and Wednesday, and passengers were notified in advance by the respective airlines. However, passengers continued to face inconvenience due to these disruptions.
